1/10/2023 Cambria CSD Fire Department Storm Update
Cambria has officially made it through this recent extreme weather event with zero storm related injuries or deaths, due to the community’s safety awareness and responsible decision making. Additionally, special recognition should be given to all first responders, which stepped up to mitigate the dangers posed by this extreme weather event.
The Cambria CSD Firefighters were busy around the clock the last 48 hours, responding to medical emergencies, flooding, power lines down, trees into roadways, trees into homes, and trees into cars. They battled heavy rain and gale force winds through the day and night, to ensure the safety of all Cambrians.
On behalf of the men and women of Cambria CSD Fire Department, thank you all for trusting us and taking our safety messages seriously. We appreciate all of the community love and support we received. It’s truly an honor for us to serve in such a wonderful and supportive community filled with amazing people.
Lastly, we want to recognize and thank the CCSD Board of Directors for their support. Their investments in personnel, training, apparatus, and equipment have a direct impact on the level of professional services we provide, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. The impacts of their support are felt by both the fire department members and the public alike.
