Henry Wright was hired as a Reserve Firefighter with the Cambria Fire Department in November 2024 and promoted to SAFER Firefighter in January 2025.

Henry grew up in Cambria and has always loved the outdoors and being part of a close community. He spends his free time with his girlfriend, family, and close friends, and he’s usually either out mountain biking or working on his Jeep.

His journey in the fire service began when he graduated from the Monterey Peninsula College Fire Academy in May 2024. A few months later, he got hired part-time with the City of Greenfield in August and joined Cambria Fire as a Reserve Firefighter in November. In January 2025, he was promoted to SAFER Firefighter, proudly serving the community that he grew up in.
