Michael Thomas
Michael Thomas was elected to the CCSD Board of Directors in the November 8, 2022 Statewide General Election and his term expires on December 4, 2026.
A California native and Army veteran, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCSB and an MBA from the University of Houston, Michael and his wife Gail have been full-time residents in Cambria since 2018.
A lifelong nature lover, Michael volunteers with FFRP, serving on the board in 2021–2022, leading the invasive species removal program and helping maintain trails to preserve our precious Fiscalini ranch.
Retired from a distinguished career at Chevron, with a background in engineering, pipeline operations, process improvement and project management, Michael has served on the Resources & Infrastructure Committee since early 2021.
Living and loving the good life here in Cambria, Michael and Gail enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and trying to keep up with our 5 grandkids.
